hi !
well just arrived in calcutta .... i tried to avoid that city first or at least i wanted to do that city
more in the end than as a start ... but things change and so im here ... and its a, well, actually i cant describe my
feeling about it right now ... its too early for me to give a comment about india or calcutta ... so many new impressions,
people, traffic, landscape, slums, poorness, and whatever .. just too much at once ... but i think, ill get used to it quite
soon, right now i just need a quiet place to sit and have a drink, but believe me its goddamn hard to find such a place ...
yeah,
what happened after laos -- robert and i joined a three day trekking tour up to the hilltribes from julie gust house in
chiang mai. that was a fucking good trip hehe, but that depended more on the group with been in as on the trek itself.
bevor the trek started weve been muddy all over cause we had a couple of car breakdowns on the way to the hills .... well
the first two breakdowns were a kind of funny, but after the 5th it was getting a little bit annoying ... anyway we made our
way to the first village and got really good food, two fuckin small plankets, and a cold hut to sleep for .... well i didnt
bring so much dry clothes with me, so i froze the whole night ... not much sleep the whole night, but cool chatts with all
the other people. next day we met dr. O, went to the waterfalls and got goddamn pissed ... i mean 12 bottles of mekong
whiskey, with hardly any coke ... and only 7 persons drinking ... well was kind of a funny night, believe me ... and at least
five of em ended up puking somewhere hehe .... i woke up in the pile of the empty whiskey bottles, freezing again cause i
didnt get any plankets at all, and no sleep again .... that was a hell of a night .... on the next day we did bamboo rafting
and elefant riding ... not so good with such an hangover we had hehe
same day, at night we went out with a part of our group - two denish girls and 2 from san fran - and got pretty pissed
again, ended up in a really good pup called good view, with the best live music ive ever heard in the last years ...
after that we went to a insider club called bubbles or so ... good house music, good place to go ... but i really recommend
that good view restaurant/pup .... if ure in chiang mai -- go for it !!!
the whole trip is getting damn expensive, possibly cause ive already gotten used to that mekong whiskey stuff,
so i have to spend quite a lot of money to get pissed ... just according to the fist night in bkk, where i only had
one bottle .... but im goddamn happy we dont have that stuff in austria ..hehe
anyway, im now in india and i think
it will take me some time to get used to it, but im sure im gonna enjoy it ... yeah thats for sure .... i really hope
that conflict with pakistan will not get a really big problem ...
ok gonna stop now, this place is closing
see
u mucki
