heydo,
eff, emailing becomes more and more difficult. not cause there wouldnt be the possibilities, but right
now there is no break. one highlight charges the next highlight and many other things charge me. especially in the last 10
days. i got charged by an elephant and had to dive underneath a truck. the truckdriver had a bit of a late start (350 pound
heavy guy), but made it in the last second as well hehe, was quite a thing to laugh at after he had survived it, especially
cause
someone videotaped it and we could see him dive in slowmotion later hehe.
elephants in our camp in zambia,
as they built it on a sanctuary ... quite a cool thing, but only if you aint got no food in your tent.
then i got charged
by a naked crazy local man while having a busbreakdown in the middle of nowhere. he just jumped out of the bush and i can
tell you .... all the stories are true. my world crumbled .... aaaahhh. scary.
3 days later on a very remote island
upstream the zambezi river the thing called hippo watching turned into hippo charging, as our guide mistook a baby hippo with
a croc, what the hippo parents definitely didnt like at all.
on the next day i got charged by some horny ugly englishgirls
... i prefered the hippo experience.
after "relaxing" on this beautiful spot called bovu island i was finally at the edge of the world ... the victoria
falls -- stunning. being a multimillionaire in the local currency i spent it all on cool but scary
activities.
like
white water rafting: grade 5 rapids again, this time with a little bit more rocks and crocs waiting for people flipping. well
we of course flipped 3 times, once really badly. when i surfaced, there wasnt much sight of my other 7 boatmates. 3 of them
were testing, if there are really airchambers underneath the boat, one was looking for her tooth and the others were smacking
crocs with their paddles while trying
not to drown.
it was cool anyway ... i mean we started of as 8 and ended as a group of 5 .... some just gave up ... dont understand.
warmduscher.
then gorge swinging. bloody hell, but this really scared my vertigo out of my pants. 54 m free fall, 4
secs, and then you swing out in a valley with your tandempartner attached to yourself at a speed of 120 mph. and that is fast.
especially if you do the deathdrop and fall and swing upside down backwards -- you even forget how to scream. very recommendable.
rap
jumping and abseiling and rushing attached on a wire over a 70 m canyon --- very relaxing after the gorge swing.
did
i already tell you that the victoria falls are stunning?
well, i am in zimbabwe right now. and i just came back from
THE soccer game in the country. well the town i m staying in lost 3:0. after the first hundred started beating the shit out
of the winning team's fans, we had to leave. right now the 6th firetruck just passed
the internetcafe on the way to the
stadium. i really have to get a newspaper tomorrow.
well. it was fun. i m way behind with answering mails, but i ll try the best. it s just too much happening here right
now.
dunno. much more happened, but ... the rest at the octoberfest.
