5895m. highest peak of africa. 3 days up to the top, no time for aclimatisation. definitiv too little oxygen, too little
red bloodcells, but with the brilliant idea of hyperventilation to get more oxygen in my brain i finally made it to the first
peak. with the power of lariam, adrenalin, endorphine and the best sunrise of my life i was then leveled up another 200m to
the summit. my guide never thought i d make it, as he has seen me 600m below and was already suggesting to turn around. honestly
.. i felt like shit. but at the top --- hell, i won my bet. reached the top, did the very very chilly picture and now i m back
in moshi ... down to earth, full of oxygen and ready to celebrate.
it s been definitley my biggest challenge -- physically
as well as mentally, but very rewarding as well. amazing this mountain. actually, very easy to climb, if you d have 2 more
days before the summit. but hey, i m on a low budget ..
aight ... maybe no party tonight, but maybe some sleep ...
yep, that sounds like a good idea.
