A country full of highlights, every day is an adventure and you will encounter places you would have never thought that these could exist.

Time: 3-4 weeks

Money: 400 Euro/Month

Crossed from Chile on an amazing 3 day trip from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni. From there I went to Potosi, Sucre, Santa Cruz and to La Paz. Down the Road of Death passing Coroico all the way down to Rurrenabaque. Crossed over to Peru then through Copacabana at Lago Titicaca.

Uyuni: Salar de Uyuni, famous dried out salt lake, definitely one of the most amazing places in the world. Do a trip from or to San Pedro de Atacama and you can enjoy also Laguna Colorado, Laguna Verde, Sol de Manana and a few other mindblowing places.
Check out the train graveyard for sunset ...

Potosi: World's highest town; check out the silver mines, chew coca leaves, try 90% alcohol and blow up TNT.

Sucre and Santa Cruz: Chilled student towns, very good spot to do a Spanish course.

La Paz: Highest capital of the world. Good treks to do, meet the high society of Bolivia at night and visit probably the world's most interesting prison system.

The Road of Death: Definitely an unforgetable experience. It s the way to Coroico and further down to Rurrenabaque.
You have a few options:
a) Superwarmduscher option: take a plane
b) Minibus
c) Big bus
d) Non-Warmduscher option: Bike it down (very recommendable)
e) Super Non-Warmduscher option: Hitchhike down on a truck

Coroico: Very chilled place, definitely worth a stop over for a few days on the way down to the pampas.

Rurrenabaque: We are down in the pampas, not far away from the real Jungle. Do a pampas tour, catch aligators, swimm with pink dolphins, fish piranas, wrestle with anacondas and cobras -- really an amazing trip !

Lake Titicaca: A lake .... not really mindblowing .... you can go to Isla de Sol y de Luna.
