the flight over the andes was pretty impressive - had good weather so we could see quite a lot ...  im here in southamerica now till end of august,
travelling with my mate from austria kurt -- he speaks little bit of spanish, for gods sake, -- my spanish is crap, so im kinda lost without him --- fuck all the guides that say u can get along with english here in chile ... no it's not that bad, but its definitely much easier with spanish. well our rout will be chile, bolivia, peru, ecuador and back from bogota/coloumbia ... but we re flexible as always ....

santiago is pretty cool, but i guess its definitely getting better the further north we get ... san pedro de atacama, bolivia ... and so on.

last night i also survived my first earthquake!!! richter skala 6.5 !!! fucking incredible .... woke up something around 4 a.m., got no idea what was
happening, i mean everything was shaking -- first thought: how can that be, wasnt so drunk when i got to bed, i mean the wine was good, but thes effects ... no way --- took some time till i realized that it was a
fucking earthquake - u just dont expect that kind of thing .... but my companion was even better - he just didnt woke up - just imagine, 6.5 !! he just didnt care hehe ....

well anyway, gotta go now, my online time here is over already, so keep me informed whats happening on the other side of the world.
